Just getting started observation.
#1
I am just getting started into this but am not new to Rc but man is fpv confusing to all the other new people or is it just me. I have raced on road rc cars, off road rc, even flown a few planes and ran one right into a wall once. There is so much to take in and learn just to understand where to even start. Maybe the past experience with rc stuff is a crutch of some sort. I mean you just needed a chassis of some kind, a servo, 1 motor, speed controller, and battery and you were good to go. Now I am trying to learn all about all the different transmitters and the different ways they work and transmit. Next is what size to start with hopefully I picked one that will work for me. cameras, goggle, 4 in one esc of single esc, flight controllers, receivers, video transmitters, and the list goes on. While it is a little overwhelming I am having a blast so far just trying to learn everything I can and have ordered a bunch of stuff that will hopefully give me something to build and learn with. Here is a list of what i have ordered so far hopefully I made some good decisions. I still have to decide on motors, props, and a few other things but I think I have a good start so far.

Fatshark attitude V5 googles
TBS Tango 2 pro transmitter
Tbs crossfire nano RX
Brainfpv Radix Flight controller
Speedix GS45 45a Blheli32 4-in-1 esc
Toolkitrc md6 charger
a couple  of batteries
Speedy Bee 5 inch freestyle frame
Rushtank vtx
Runcam split micro hd camera

I would avoid the Split as a first camera. The picture and latency is not great for FPV, and the HD is not great. You're making sacrifices to both parts of the experience to get it in one package and I don't believe it's worth it. Take it from someone who has a 3-inch with a Split-style setup and never flies it as a result ...

You're probably better of getting a dedicated FPV camera. Good candidates at the moment are the Runcam Phoenix, Caddx Ratel and Foxeer Toothless.

EDIT: sorry - just realised you've already ordered. Hope I didn't put you off! Plenty of people are happy with Split-style cams, they're just not for me.

The ground is for dead people.

No worries I have factored in that I may make some mistakes on my decisions when first learning. I'll try it and if i don't like it I can try something different. Thanks for the suggestions.

So, everything looks like they will work. When you connect esc to FC, make sure the wire order are arranged correctly. Wire order and pins number are not standardized.

Charger requires a power supply, if you didn't know.

Personally, I would have gone with a Radiomaster TX16S with a Crossfire module. This opens you up to a lot of options for receivers. But nothing is wrong with going exclusively Crossfire.

The Radix is a great FC. But it does not use standard BF due to the graphic OSD. You will have to wait for Brainfpv to release their firmware. Currently, I am recommending F7 FC.

Everything looks good. Most of the products you have purchased are quality products and durable. As voodoo614 said, I would also have gone with a Radiomaster TX16S.If you want to fly with tiny whoops in the future, it will not be possible with Tango 2.

TBS will soon be releasing a multi-protocol module for the Tango 2 Whistling

I will need another radio and a lot of other stuff once my 16 year old son sees what I am building so I thought i would wait for everyone to get the radiomaster and work the bugs out then maybe that would be the next Transmitter. I also am trying to change my order and substitute the flight controller with A SpeedyBee F7 flight controller.
