JCL with 2 Mavics and starting on FPV
#1
Hello,
I started with a DJI Tello just to see if this was a passing fad in my list of interests. I then bought a Mavic Mini 2... and then an Air 2.  I then went and got my Part 107 license and started working on putting YouTube videos with the drone:

Then I watched TronCat FPV channel on a budget $200 FPV build
Thought to myself, "I can do that and it looks fun!!" and bought all the parts:

Sourceone V4 5” Frame
Speedybee F405 V3 Stack

Emax Eco ii 2306 2400kv motors

Foxeer Razer Mini (4:3)

JHEMCU 600mw VTX

HQ Prop Ethix P3

BetaFPV 2.4ghz ELRS rx

Eachine EV110 FPV Goggles
Ovonic 4s 1550mah LiPo

My problem is the controller he recommended, the JumperRC T-Lite V2 ELRS has been sold out for weeks, and will be.  As a noob, I'm wondering if I can subsitute this for that controller: RadioMaster Zorro Radio Controller - ELRS  - https://www.getfpv.com/radiomaster-zorro...-elrs.html

This is my build so far:

I was going to finish it today but my wife woke me up at 7am and said, "We're going to drive 90 miles today to go buy a German Sheppard puppy, or I am going without you."  After dropping nearly a grand, I don't feel bad anymore about spending 400-500$ on this drone project Big Grin

Oh, and I just finished reading the Technician Ham Radio Manual and plan on getting my Technician ham radio license this week.

Absolutely. The T-lite V2 is cheaper but actually I prefer the Zorro over the T-Lite V2 for the quality.
That looks like a fun build you got there Smile
