786 You should be able to force a re-flash of the standard BLHeli_S firmware using the C-H-40 firmware layout with the BLHeliSuite software (instead of BLHeli Configurator). So try doing that. Then once fixed you can re-flash back to BLHeli_M.
You might also want to consider the new Bluejay ESC firmware which supports BLHeli_S ESCs and is being actively developed by more than just one developer.

41 I’ve had this happen and it’s a real pain as you think you have fried an esc. I found the following helps.
Unplug USB from fc/esc stack. Plug in Lipo first and then plug the USB in. The order is important. Then connect with blheli configurator and attempt flashing.
This method brought a mamba esc back to life for me and fixed those errors with the esc.

0 Thank you for your help. I just tried various softwares, plug order, firmware versions... nothing seems to work. When I load the firmware to flash, it starts the flash and then gives me an error of "processTicksAndRejections (internal/process/task_queues.js:75:11". Real bummer. It'll flies as before, but not I can't communicate anymore with the 2 ESCs. I flashed this version on similar stacks with no problems, but 2 of my stacks are now bricked because of JazzMaverick. Thank you for your help.
