Interference in short distance with steadyview receiver
#1
I have the skyzone ox4 oled. i have a problem with my reception video. i have interference in 20-30meters with small obstacles. I tried to upload the FW so i can try to solve the problem but on skyzone  site i found only the FW for goggles not for steadyview for which i think is the problem. Any suggestions?

What kind of interference? Can you describe it with some detail or provide an image as an example?

I assume you have manually set and double checked you are on the same Band/Channel or Frequency on both the VTX and VRX?

Yes ofcourse. I found the problem with several drones tiny whoop, 2.5 inch and 5inch. I uploaded a video to YouTube and you can see there some interference. For example behind the small round build and container which is 30 meters from me. Here is 800 mw. With whoop I hame problem in 5 meters.

You seem to be flying long enough to know what typical analog video is like behind a steel structure.

Yes you are right I do know and this is why I'm concerned. The problems you see here also occur in buildings with thin walls as well even at short distances. It's impossible for me to penetrate a house as I see so many other videos do.

The Steadyview receiver may be the cause but its hard to be sure.

So many things at play here:

- The flying spot (RF noise in locality)
- VRX sensitivity (People have a terrible experience with Rapidfire and Fusion at some spots too)
- Antennas (physical condition, sensitivity, tune, clearance above lipo and frame)
- Pilot position relative to obstacle
- VTX power (too high results in multipathing where as too low results in less penetration)
