Just some info, spec about the Gemfan Maverick ESC.

It has a 32-bit MCU and runs Gemfan's own custom firmware.
  • 24A continuously and 35A BURST
  • Size: 25 x 13 mm
  • 3D mode support
  • PWM (25-500HZ) Oneshot125, Oneshot42 and multishot auto-detection
  • 3 Braking modes: freewheeling, damped light mode and braking
  • 2-4S LiPo cells
  • temperature protection! When overtemperature (in software configurable) protection reduces the power
  • Weight: pending
It's pretty amazing how much smaller the ESC has gotten, and more powerful they have become.

Now question is what this "custom firmware" is. Hope not like emax did with their old 12a escs just by modifying blheli and "closing" it.

Custom firmware Like KISS 24A, or V-Good Firefly. Because of the 32-bit MCU There is no open source firmware for them yet Smile
