Hey Everyone, Happy to be part of this forum,
I have a quick question to pick some of you pro guys brains...

So I was wondering, is it possible to somehow use the stock inductrix FC as a receiver?  so basically use the stock DSMX radio that comes with it on another non AIO FC instead of buying a receiver for the purpose, I noticed 3 pads at the bottom of the inductrix FC, what are these for? perhaps receiver output?

I have not heard of anyone that have done this. Probably not worth the effort considering you will still have all the bulk of a FC. And you can get a third party satellite micro receiver for $6.

My biggest problem is there are very few places that stock these in South Africa, and our postal service is absoluitly useless, I might wait months and then hear that it got lost in shipping or something.

On that note, Have you by any chance managed to replace a mosfet on a board this size? is it worth taking on? Maybe I can just make one working FC with the 2 I have lying around until I can get around to finding a receiver for my F3 board.

I have not really dealt with SMD components. It is always worth it if it doesn't cost you anything and you have the skills to pull it off.

You should check out Drone mesh on you tube, he has lots of videos on how to replace / fix flight controllers making one good fc from two bad fc.
