Inductrix batteries

How do you check the voltage on an Inductrix 1s battery? I do not want to fly it too long ?

I fly mine until there is not enough juice to keep it in the air. (I use mylipo.de's and similar.) My batteries hold up well to this "abuse". However, you can check the voltage with a multimeter (with sufficiently small probes).

Edit: I haven't flown my recently, but if I recall, the leds on the inductrix will start flashing when the batteries get too low. (But you will also know from the lack of power.)

I don't have an inductrix, but I've built a whoop style quad on the E010 frame with a beecore FC. With no OSD or voltage LED I found myself in a similar situation. You will feel the lack of power and thats generally a good time to land.

But as an extra step I setup a Timer based on Throttle % to countdown on my Taranis. With my setup and 240mah batteries I found setting a countdown to 1:40 would give me about 3-4min of flight time and I would be landing at about 3.6-3.7v. The harder you fly the faster the timer counts down... You will need to do several flights and test your batteries voltage with a multimeter about 5min after a flight to find a good value for your timer.

Same as Scotty here, normally for brushed quads they would fail to stay in the air when it reaches around 3.3-3.4V... which is find for the little 1S batteries.
A lot of brushed FC's nowadays support buzzer, maybe you can add one on if possible. it can be used as a lost model alarm too.

Just came across this on Banggood - thought I'd put it here for future reference:

I'll be picking up one of these on my next order, much easier than carrying around my multimeter.

A bit heavy to put on the quad (10g), but for checking voltage on the ground should be great Smile
