iNav help line
#46
I am having trouble  Huh  I can't connect a new FC, AirHero 32 to iNav. I use an Mac computer running OS 10.13.1, to connect the FC to iNav it needs the Silicon Labs usb-to-uart-bridge-vcp-drivers connected. The driver is loaded but it will not appear in the iNav window it only shows bluetooth. I have found that the driver needs to be allowed permission to load (System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Allow) the mac systems report shows it is loaded but it will not show in iNav. Anyone any ideas what to next?

Since the last security update to the mac OS 10.13.2 everything works with flashing not only the controllers also the BLHeli configurator. Make sure you select the USB port from the dropdown list at the top right of the configurators. Am now looking forward to tuning the flying wing and having some fun again rather than the endless frustration of not knowing which part of the technology has you fooled.

Thank you for the kind thought, it brought a smile to my dial. Though my frustrations with the Mac are over not so with the rest of the deal, a couple for rather hard vertical landings have cause grief and now after all the new stuff and repairs the weather Gods are having a go from 6 days in a row of plus 40 celsius to rain and I still can't fly. In the meantime I have a Zeta FX-79 flying, I know this is not iNav stuff, it is one beautiful wing to fly. Hope to fit it with an AIR32 soon.

Hi everybody!

I built my first drone based on MATEK F722 and iNav. I have problems with GPSHOLD and ALTHOLD modes. Compass seems to be configured and working correctly. How could I get an advise? It would be nice to find somebody in NY/NJ area so that I could demo what happens.

Thanks,
Boris

Hang in there Hank This quad business is the most frustrating and annoying thing that I have undertaken in a 65 year R/C career history of frustrating and annoying projects.

The Lads on Into FPV will see you through believe me.   Big Grin Big Grin

Hello Boris...  I'm not in your neck of the woods but if you could say a little bit more about the problems you're having I may be able to help. How does your drone fly in one of the stabilized modes like angle or horizon?  What happens when you switch to poshold and/or althold?
I'm trying to think but nothing happens.

Hank, I have found the AirHero 32 from MultiWii one of the best FC I have used to date.

I hope you have as a good a result as I am now getting with mine.

I now have three of them as they are about to be discontinued which is quite sad.

Cheers,

KK
