ImmersionRC Tramp Nano VTX
#1
Tony Cake has released details of the new ImmersionRC Tramp Nano which is due to ship later this week...

Size: 18 x 13.8mm (approx)
Weight: ~1.01g

Features:
  • Tiny RGB LED which shows the status making it immediately obvious which mode it is in (TNR, BF control, Race Lock, etc.).
  • Locking IPEX connector on the supplied SMA cable which is fully compatible with any U.FL standard antenna. Just slide the silver cap of the connector and lock it onto the connector with no screws.
  • Ships with a 20x20 mounting frame and red IRC soft mounts which help to protect the sensitive quartz crystals against shock.
  • The TNR (Touch'n'Race) chip is now built in with just a tiny antenna for anyone who uses it.
  • 'Tramp' Standard control, still on v1.0 so no messing around with protocol compatibility.
  • Addition of a couple of new commands to completely shut down the TX so that pit switches are not required.
  • Thermally regulated up to > 700mW on the lower channels with a bit of airflow. Spec'd to 500mW to be safe, but with a few hundred 'free' mW for the long rangers.

Is that locking connector a standard item? (would it work with any U.FL socket?)
