I learned a few interesting and even helpful concepts in the process. As far as getting caught, small chance. The 2.4 and 5.8 GHz have a very short range for anybody to pick it up, on top wifi and microwaves make it quite crowded. Just don't jam your HAM neighbor's internet too often.
