I think you should.. But seriously majority of the people don't have one... and really does the authority have the resource to actively go out and catch people? I doubt it... They would turn up probably because someon reported you.. If you annoyed that person with your VTX hehe...

But still it's our responsibility to follow the rules...

It took me a week and an audio tape to pass the technician level. I learned a few interesting and even helpful concepts in the process.
As far as getting caught, small chance. The 2.4 and 5.8 GHz have a very short range for anybody to pick it up, on top wifi and microwaves make it quite crowded. Just don't jam your HAM neighbor's internet too often.

I still recommend getting it, for the value vs effort ( and for bragging rights Smile )
