Is there an easy way or techniques for identifying a PIN physical location on the board?

What do you mean exactly? Do you mean how to locate a breakout pads for a pin on the MCU?

Yes. Let’s say I have A0 free. What are some techniques to identify the physical location?

All of the resources refer to pin on the MCU. You just stick a "P" in front of the resource, then look up a pinout of the MCU to find the pin for that resource. The pinout below is for an F405 MCU. For resource A01 it would be PA1 on the MCU which is pin #15.
