Identifying Fat Shark model
#1
Bought some "like new" (work perfect btw) Fat Shark goggles. The guy, an older person, hadn't used them in years, and told me that they're Dominator HD's.
The following is what came with them;
Fat Shark case,
Fat Shark strap
Fat Shark antenna,
Fat Shark RC Vision System 5.8 HzRx High Pass Filtered-Factory tested to -90dBm NexwaveRF NWM662JRX module.

On the TOP SIDE of the goggles they have;
1. A raised fan in center
2. Two covers, one on each side, left side has one hole for the antenna, right side cover has one hole for ?
3. Right side has HT button, up/down VOL button and a analog/record button, plus jack for plugging in battery.
4. Left side up/down CH button, and display/control button
On the bottom side;
1. Data plug
2. HDMI
3. RX switch 1 or 0
4 PD adjustments for eye width.

I really can't id them specifically and hoping someone can  help.

What colour is the sticker on the top where the buttons are? Blue or grey? I take it there is nothing such as "HD3" printed on that sticker?

Can you possibly post some photos?

No, unfortunately there is not any model label on the top part of the goggles,  other than Fat Shark.
The color is gray/white.I'll try and post pics soon. I think I've narrowed it down between the  Dominator HD v2's or v3's

Thanks

They're the HD2's. The HD3's have a different (newer) style of fan on the faceplate.

If you like a large FOV then you can count yourself lucky because the HD2's have a whopping 50 degree FOV compared to the HD3's which only have a 42 degree FOV.

Thank you good sir, I paid $125.00 USD for them and had to wait for a new battery. Thank goodness everything worked out perfect when I installed the new battery, besides looking brand new they worked excellent.  I'm very happy and excited. His losing interest really turned out to be my gain. Thanks again for everyone's help.

$125 sounds like a bargain Cool

Even though the HD2's are a good few years old, Mr Steele swears by them and still uses a pair because of their huge 50 degree FOV Smile
