Hi, maybe someone has seen this tumbling issue I'm running into.
Recently upgraded my mambo gimbals to V2s. Ran a calibration (which is a very fickle process if you look it up between this and the tango 2) and I'm seeing full -100 and 100 readings on all the channels... I've run this probably 15 times at this point one stick at a time to be sure.
I'm on Fettec Alpha so the 'receiver' tabs BF people are used to is called Signals, and it uses a different scale 0-1000 for min/max signal. Things seem to check out on paper. Full stick deflection is getting me the expected 0 or 1000 readout in the GUI.
Also it's worth noting that nothing has changed on my rigs... it's been the same set up and build for about 3 years...and this issue is happening on all my quads and only popped up with the new gimbals.
------------- The Issue -----------
On full stick deflection pitch or roll in any direction, it will tumble out of control.
If I pitch forward to do a half flip, it'll do it, but it will continue to tumble as if I'm not pulling back on my stick.... It's as if it's unresponsive to my stick input for X time and then I might be able to catch it before it hits the ground.
Same with rolls, it'll roll but it'll continue in the direction almost as if it's not getting me pulling back on the stick for correction.
Safe to say it makes it impossible to fly.
Ideas appreciated.
