I think I messed up.. Flysky i6s
#1
So I bought the Flysky i6s transmitter because I'm new and I wanted to use it for simulators. It should work great for that, however where I messed up is I wanted to also purchase a mini fpv quad like the Eachine 010s to practice maneuvers in real life. What I found is that the Flysky i6s transmitter is not compatible with that quad (only the regular i6 or i6x is) because it is AFHDS 2A and not regular AFHDS. Returning back to BangGood would probably be more trouble than its worth.

Are there any prebuilt mini indoor quads that I can use this transmitter for? If so I'm having trouble finding them. Should I instead look at building my own?

Thank you in advance for your help!

PS eventually I will buy the Taranis Qx7 as that seems compatible with a wide ranger of receivers.

Hey Jeef, there is a multi-protocol module that you can purchase, this will allow you to connect to most RTF micro models, as well as FrSky, DSMX and other popular protocols too.

You could try any one of the following from Banggood:
Eachine QX95
Eachine QX90
KINGKONG 65mm micro
All of these have the option to add in a Flysky AFHDS 2A receiver. For example, the QX95 and QX90 have the "Flysky" option, which is compatible with AFHDS 2A. If you want to save a few bucks though, get the "No receiver" version, and then purchase a micro Flysky receiver that is compatible /w AFHDS 2A. If you decide to get the KINGKONG 65mm micro, then it comes with a Flysky receiver which might be compatible /w AFHDS 2A. I don't know much about this quad though, but it got great reviews. Happy flying!
If it ain't broke, DON'T FIX IT!
