What is this? stair step "pitch I term", when i go to 0% throttle "I term" does this but only in pitch forward, the quad goes into a slow front pitch until i stop it. the quad flys fine at all other times. i have another quad very similar to this one and this does not happen...i have tryed ANTY GRAVITY. It only happens when at 0% throttle. AIRMODE fixes this completely, this is not OK with me, because its not right...any ideas, because 2 weeks of this and im thinkin its my FC...?? the second pic shows I term (top data line) in flight regular, its fine, does what it should. im running betaflight 3.2.3 airbotf4 firmware on a flip32f4. 2400kv emax SE white top motors w/bullet 30a esc dal tri blade V2 5045 props 215 diatone tyrant CLI is default except air mode and anti gravity • Posts: 1,149 Threads: 50 Likes Received: 704 in 450 posts Likes Given: 1,189 Joined: Sep 2016 Reputation: 30 If airmode fixes this completely as you say, then i'm pretty sure it's a "feature" of the firmware... Probably something to do with iterm being reset at zero throttle if airmode is not on. A possible fix could be an idle-up mix in transmitter, i.e. setting throttle higher than min-check (by using a mix switch) to prevent the reset. • Posts: 139 Threads: 19 Likes Received: 34 in 26 posts Likes Given: 9 Joined: Mar 2017 Reputation: 0 23-Dec-2017, 04:27 PM (This post was last modified: 24-Dec-2017, 04:45 AM by nitro20%.) Some people also reported problems at full throttle with airmode off btw, so i'd recommend airmode anyway, and also to tune it in the mode you fly. • Posts: 139 Threads: 19 Likes Received: 34 in 26 posts Likes Given: 9 Joined: Mar 2017 Reputation: 0 so after weeks of doing stuff and things ("lorie")...i have gottin this thing flyin great..5 inch is so fast...still need air mode no mater what..tryed "throttle up" but its kinda different to fly that way....i have a perfect set up to bring out I-term wind up, so thank you betaflight for all the hard work..if not for you, this quad would be trash..... i did tune it with air mode off and on and came out with really close pids, so for me air mode is just a way to kept my quad from falling over on 0% throttle. this quad got me all rapped up and forgot why i fpv, remenber DONT FORGET TO FLY! lol... It's great for your quad's performance. |
