Finally got to fly this spot I've had my eye on for a while.  It's only a couple minutes from home.

Places that close to home are the best! Did I see some kiddos in the back of the truck? Big Grin I do the same thing with mine lol. They stay in the hatch of my Jeep Grand Cherokee with the glass opened up. Wink My lil mini spotters ROFL

Nice flyin' Ryan(!) its funny, I see the stars and stripes in the background of you avatar but when I read rryyyaann I can't help but hear a Welsh accent!

I agree, places close to home are the best, so you can keep the batteries rotating and quickly nip back to re-solder that bloody...

Yeah, I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable flying that close to a highway.

Getting your quad stuck on the antennas on that mobile phone tower would make you extremely unpopular! Big Grin

Smooth flying... the truck follow looked cool. I agree that there were a couple of risks there but it didn't look like you got too close to either. Smile

Thanks guys, granted I was fairly close to the cell tower, but the Interstate, (I-65) is really a ways off.  I have failsafe and a kill switch all set up.

My son likes to tag along and do the count downs for lift off  Smile

Thanks!

Its right near an old run down hotel off Intersate 65 exit 178.  Battle Ground, Indiana just outside West Lafayette (Purdue University).
