I Got My First Sponsorship
#16
I bought a couple of R-LINE LiPos just to support. Let them know it's paying off already!

(I needed the LiPos anyway just hadn't purchased them yet. Specifically got them from crown because of this thread and they had a good price on them!)

long story short, i met Sean (the owner of CrownCityFPV) a few months back at a local flying field. he had mentioned that he was starting an online store for fpv. i'm a big believer in supporting local hobby shops so i starting picking up parts from him. he's a really cool guy so i started putting his logo in my videos to try to help him out. and i'm always going to local meet ups, and help setting up track days and stuff. and when ever someone would ask where i get my parts i tell them from crowncityfpv. and recently i started entering local MultiGP events. so one day he offered me a sponsorship package. i don't think i'm a great pilot or anything, but more that i'm willing to help his site grow.

Jimmy, you are becoming a great pilot, and he surely recognizes that (as do many of us). You deserve it - and he's lucky and smart to have snapped you up!

My LiPos arrive tomorrow from coast to coast... that's pretty darn good!

Heck if Amazon takes 2 days, and a place from Cali takes 3... I think we know who is shipping the right way. Good choice Jimmy... thanks for letting us know about a good shop!
