I feel bad, but not really
#1
So I was searching FB marketplace, and found someone selling a TinyHawk 2 RTF Bundle. The price he was asking was higher than retail, so I sent him a message mentioning so.

A few minutes passed, and he had responded that he accidentally put the wrong price. We chatted back and forth a bit, and long story short, I convinced him to keep it Smile

Sent him a few links, gave him some advice, and just basically twisted his arm.

Should I feel bad for him not selling it? Hell no, I don't, I got him back in the hobby!

I guess I am a bad influence, but in a good way Wink

Unfortunately this hobby has a STEEEEP learning curve!! More like a cliff.. if it wasn’t for Bardwell, and tons of others I wouldn’t have concidered even thinking of starting down this rabbit hole...
You did give him fair warning... didn’t you??

Oh, I think he's aware. I asked why he was selling and said he really enjoyed it, but that the 3 minutes of flight time just wasn't cutting it.

The poor guy only had 2 batteries!!!

That's when I said..."my advice, keep it, and buy more batteries!!" I then mentioned the Diatone Roma, and it's potential for 20+ minute flights. He must have Googled that real quick, cuz his reply was a minute later, "that's not that expensive?!"

I mentioned the FB group I was in, told him who I was on this forum, sent him links to both IntoFPV, and RDQ.

By this morning, he had already joined the FB group that I invited him to last night. HA!

Yep, I think I hooked him! I have a feeling he'll be joining here as well.

Bwuuhahahaaaa!
