But new model is 28g lighter than the heavy duty cardboard:



117g dry weight, 142g with a 360mah 2S

What motor did you choose?

"Choose" is not a good word - I just had this Racerstar motor after my thrust tests. The BR1108 6800kv type with Gemfan 3035.

If I were to buy a new one, not sure what I'd get, probably the GEPRC 1206 7500kv for 2s or 6000kv for 3S. Their weight is the same but would deliver more power - it is not really needed, but it is always nice to know the headroom is there

Anyway, it flies fine right now, here is the maiden:



Camera died soon after this so I couldn't show you how it flies after adjusting the elevons - here you will see it is hard to control with all this swaying around.

So I have my parts ordered. I did not expect this to be my first wing, but well, at least it’s gonna be quite cool one :-D
