HyperLite 2206-2450KV Team Edition Motors
#1
Ever wondered what happened to the ZMX motors? well they got a make over and are now back as the New HyperLite 2206-2450KV Team Edition Motors. but don't let the pretty colors fool you, these things are said to be little monsters. they have curved magnets and a nothced feel when you spin them by hand. just like the Tiger F40II motors (which i love). i can't wait to try these out.

I read somewhere that they are indeed the zmx v3/brotherhobby returner but with different windings

yes these are the ZMX motors rebranded. but i'm not sure which version they are. they have a V2, V3, these team edition, and a V4 that's coming out soon.

PiroFlipRC is a local (SoCal) RC shop with excellent reputation. HyperLite is their product line. Sergio, the owner, claims these are made in a different factory than ZMX and BrotherHobby, I did not ask him for details but know the windings are custom. I recently got a set and put those on a new XHover build, they RIP!

I work in Santa Monica but live in Corona. We will be hosting an event in our MultiGP chapter in the next few weeks, I'll send you info. Also this weekend I'm flying in the SoCal Maker Con 4" and Whoop events. Are you going?

no i'm going to pass on the Maker Con event. i'm going to be at a practice track at hansen dam. i want to try to get both of my hyperlites dialed in, and get a little more comfortable with them before i try to embarrass myself at anything official.  Big Grin
