I'm a big fan of build threads! Can you tell us more about the story behind this build? Was there inspiration or something that happened that led to this build? What are you hoping to get out of the build?

I don't know, from the first post it almost looks like the lego build where you grab a handful of bits and make something with them. So the purpose of the build may be to grab a bunch of random spare parts and see what comes out the other side. They often turn into the most interesting builds.

That's pretty much it - I'm on a fixed income, so I really only get to buy parts every other month or so, but I have a whole 2x2ft bin full of random parts (frames, ESCs, FCs, a little of everything), so I've been reaching in, grabbing random parts until I have enough to build (or ATTEMPT to build) a working quad - Right now with this one I have OSD, but no video from the Air Unit - The camera and cable are both brand new, and I have checked the connections multiple times, but still no video - I am trying right now to figure it out so I can get a few packs in before it gets dark

“Spare parts” builds are my favorite- both to build myself and to read build threads about.

How steep is your camera angle?
Dangerous operations.

Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about.
I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.

Between 35 and 40, I'm not really sure, the cam mount doesn't have degrees marked like my other quads do
