HS1177 FPV Camera Review
#1
[Image: R68uOfTl.jpg]

The HS1177 FPV cam is one of the most popular fpv cams out there.

What makes it so popular?

The fact it is small, all self contained in a protective case
Lightweight
Easy to set up
Accepts a wide range of input power, 5-17 volts
Has it's own mounting cradle.
Fits on mini quads real nice
Adjustable Tilt
Tons of 3D printed case.Holders, mounts etc available should you want to print your own.

Cons:
The metal cradle while adjustable with 3 position holes is sadly a weak link, the metal is almost as soft as butter and breaks really easily.
The Configuration cable is not the best and requires you to purchase third party items to actually be able to change any settings on the camera, Or be a dab hand at soldering to make your own custom connections.

Overall it is a great camera, handles light changes very well and because of it's small form factor and being light weight it is suitable for a wide variety of multirotor sizes.

NOTE***
While the camera can accept 4S voltage it is not recommended to attach it directly to 4s as mini quad esc's do spike at times and may push the cam over it's voltage limits, Always use a line filter on your FPV gear.
