I currently fly: DRC Aura, NOX5R, Minimalist 112 and drive a scrap RC car 28-Apr-2017, 04:36 PM That photo is actually a lot harder to take than you'd think. Getting something behind the glass so that it doesn't reflect what's in the room behind it is the first challenge. The second one is making sure that there isn't even the smallest speck of dust on the glass when you take the shot. (I failed.) Then getting the exposure exactly right so that you can't see the LCD underneath the glass is also lots of fun. 28-Apr-2017, 06:09 PM yes lots of effort went into taking nice pictures for products.. the reflection problem - i use a large sheet of white PVC as a wall to stand behind the ipad so reflection is white-ish grey... dust - I photoshopped them in post edit it normally takes me 1-2 hours to take and edit pictures for a product... not an easy task! 28-Apr-2017, 08:10 PM Photoshop is cheating! The noise on the photo I took is terrible, but then again, it was taken with the camera on my Nexus 5 mobile and the lighting was purely ambient light with a black card at 45 degrees behind the tablet. If I really want to take great product photos, I use a light box and a proper Nikon SLR with a macro lens. 28-Apr-2017, 09:04 PM haha.. i use a iphone 5 for all my photos 28-Apr-2017, 10:17 PM I think this is actually a better example of what I can do with a light box made from tissue paper and pizza cartons together with a good camera, lots of light and a tripod. 29-Apr-2017, 02:02 PM I know... i have been meaning to get into proper camera and photography. Just waiting for the right timing But so far I found lighting has the biggest impact in my shooting first need to invest in some good bulbs and setup 30-Apr-2017, 09:30 AM Good lighting is the key, particularly with the much smaller sensors that mobile phones use. I use a 23W fluorescent lamp with a 6400K colour temperature suspended above my ghetto light box with great results. Some white card slots in nicely so that it is curved at the rear of the box which makes it invisible in the picture. 30-Apr-2017, 10:16 AM Me and Konrad both have done something similar LOL But just too small for my test LOL http://intofpv.com/t-photography-light-box http://intofpv.com/t-photography-softlight 30-Apr-2017, 12:43 PM While not exactly on topic, a friend shared a cool idea for workbench lighting... A white LED 'rope light' arched like an upside down U over the bench helps to stop casting your own shadows over your work. The colour might be a bit blue for good photos though?
