26-Apr-2017, 09:45 PM Is there a secret magical way to remove these C-clips without breaking or losing them?? use a C-clips pliers (that work reversed), and do it inside of a plastic bag so it doesn't go flying 26-Apr-2017, 09:49 PM Got a pair of c-clip pliers from home Depot had to grind down one of the tips to work on smaller clips. Purchased a bag of c-clips off the interwebs. Once you take it off its pretty much not a dependable clip anymore.. Side note. I gave up on motors with clips and cant convince myself to look at any of them with it. I have the emax 2205s. The screw alone makes life bett 27-Apr-2017, 03:02 AM Coming from mostly automotive c-clips, 9 times out of 10 we just replace them with new. 27-Apr-2017, 06:53 AM I normally toss my c-clips and install e-clips instead. They are much easier to remove/install. They are cheap on eBay and 2.5mm works for a 3mm shaft |
