How to connect battery to 3 Pin board

How to connect battery to 3 Pin on the quadcopter pcb board with battery having 2 wire connection ? does only 2 wire connection works or all 3 to be connected ?

Some photos of what you're trying to connect from and to would really, really help!

Hubsan make many different quads and I'm not going to try guessing what you have or what battery you have as an answer that comes from guessing might be completely wrong and set your quad on fire.

its hubsan x4 h017 c+ with 3 pin on the board for battery , reference pin and battery type is also in the pic...

If you can get yourself a socket that will accept the plug from your battery, you can solder the wires from the socket as shown in this picture:



If you do it this way, you'll be able to use both the Hubsan proprietary batteries, or plug in standard batteries to your extra socket.

Nice info...Sorry little bit confused...my battery is just having 2 wires positive and negative...the postive wire will go the positive & negative to the negative on the pcb board ?  but 1 pin is left empty on the pcb ...

will just 2 wire battery connection work ?

The proprietary batteries that come with the Hubsan only have two leads internally. The positive is (I believe) connected to two of the pins on the battery connector and the negative to the remaining one.

If you have a multimeter, you can check this yourself. If you don't have a multimeter, then you should buy one! A simple multimeter is cheap and is a tool that any RC hobbyist must have.

You can also use it to check how the pins are connected on the Hubsan PCB. It may well be that two of the pins are connected to each other on the PCB itself.

Maybe that picture was a little confusing, but what it shows is that all you need to do is connect the red and black wires from your battery as I have shown in the picture below:



However, I don't actually have one of these boards myself. I am only going from what I read somewhere else and there is no guarantee that if you do what I have suggested, it won't destroy your Hubsan!

If you really want to be sure, you need to use a multimeter to see what the polarity is on the original Hubsan battery. Then you can be sure which connections are positive and negative.
