How to change Auxiliary channel of FlySky FS-i6X
#1
So I bought this controller (FlySky FS-I6X) and I'm trying to get my auxiliary channels 5 and 6 to be set to Switches C and D. Currently, the only options I get is to switch from Wheel A to Wheel B for channels 5 and 6. (Images below)

Does anyone know how to switch my auxiliary channels from VrA and VrB to SwD and SwA?

This video is from a guy from Bangladesh that does EXACTLY what I want to do but I don't understand what he is saying, and I can't repeat what he is doing without his explanation.

1. Power your radio
2. click and hold OK to go to menu
3. Up to go to "functions setup" OK to confirm
4. down till AUX. Channels OK to confirm
5. (you should see the screen you wanted), press up down to change channel 5 to show "SwA" hit OK to move to chan 6
6. up/down to select SwB
7. press and hold CANCEL button to save...

test it

Hey Grisha! I don't know if you remember me but you were the reason why I bought the newer version of the FS-i6 (http://intofpv.com/t-is-the-eachine-wiza...4#pid13894)! (Thx btw)

I've obviously tried doing this ahhahaha, what happens is, the only options I have when scrolling through are VrA, VrB, and None. There are no SwA, SwB, SwC, SwC options.

I recorded a video with my phone and attached it below:

Since you're already here, I might aswell ask you. How do I connect the X6B receiver to my drone? What I did was I bought this combo (FS-i6X+X6B Receiver) and also, apart, the FS-iA6B receiver (old version I believe) because the tutorial I followed only showed how to set up the drone with the FS-iA6B receiver, and not the newer X6B receiver. So currently I have the FS-i6X+X6B Receiver and also the FS-iA6B receiver.

hmmm
i've looked in the manual:http://files.banggood.com/2016/09/FS-i6X%20User%20manual.pdf
page 16 "it should be there"
maybe try to update the firmware (check if there is something new)
i've checked on my FSi6 (old version) i can do it, flysky might have changes something - but this would be really stupid to allow only knobs... maybe you have some more features to change? aux for switches / aux for knobs ?.

as on connection, hopefully you got the package by now... make photos of the FC we will figure it out Smile

EDIT:
look at page 23 in manual that i've linked there is a point that you need to "turn on?" the switches? point 7.13
look at page 29 point 9.2 aux switches activation.

ps you made me to read the manual... i haven't done it for my radio Tongue

EDIT: Lol, I didn't even see your edits, just the words "Aux switches" made me look for that option, and it was at the end of all the options under System -.-. Wish I had seen your edits earlier lol. Also, responded a little bit later because I was out at the park having fun with the drone! After turning on all the switches everything went out smoothly. The only drones I ever flew were toy ones, and when I punched the throttle, man that thing went way up in the sky in seconds! It's gonna take me a while to get used to its power  Tongue

Holy crap, thanks so much. You know what did it? Aux switches... all my switches/knobs but VrA and VrB were off.... Why would they come off from factory wtf.

Regarding the X6B receiver, here are some pictures of the FC (from Google, was too lazy to take the plate off) and some pictures of the receiver itself.

so, this time other manual also from BG Tongue

http://img.banggood.com/file/products/20...latest.pdf

says that you should UART3,
you need to connect neg, positive and signal kable from RX to uart 3 (signal to RX pad)
in terms of configuration in cleanflight/betaflight look here

that is assuming you want to use the Ibus, you can use any of the UART port and check if the plug maches.. if yes... you can do this without soldering
