How do I get audio from my transmitter?

Can I get sound from this setup? Does anyone know of a schematic online, and the components needed to have sound sent to the fatshark goggle? Huh

You can probably use a microphone like this:
http://m.ebay.com/itm/Micro-Microphone-P...iid%253A11

You will need to give the mic 12v power and connect the ground and audio to the grd and audio l or r ports on the vtx.

Is this the one you got?

If so, you can see that you got audio r and l, I don't remember which of them you need to connect to, but you can try both and see which channel is transmitted. If I remember correctly, the receiver only receives one of the audio channels.

If changing the VTX is an option, there are several great options that have built-in microphones with decent sound quality.
* Crickets from RMRC http://www.readymaderc.com/store/index.p...ts_id=5192
* Quanum (which if you ask me is just a generic Cricket) http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...itter.html
* Lumenier http://www.getfpv.com/lumenier-tx5g6r-mi...eband.html

All of the above offer options between 25, 200 and 600mw, with and without cases. I prefer the cased ones, the extra grams are barely noticeable, but the case protection and heatsink abilities are definite bonus, especially when racing and sitting at the start line for a longer period of time.

With the above the audio will be naturally part of the transmission. If the goggles or DVR support audio, it will be present in the feed. Here is an example of one of my quads with a Cricket audio

I really never saw the point of audio but some of top racers use it.

I like audio for tuning purposes (propwash/oscillations). Don't use it for normal flying.
