What I have found is that my wallet is much lighter since I started into the FPV hobby Smile
But it is really much fun.

I've got a 5 inch rooster clone but I've seen a 4 inch frame that fits my 30x30 flight controller but i don't no if I'd have to downgrade my motors as they are 2205 2300kv.

Welcome to the forum! You won't find much difference changing to a 4" frame with the same components. Keep that 5" as is and build yourself a little 3" screamer. They're a ton of fun!
Dude, where's my quad?

I'm thinking of a challenge but I don't know if it's possible. Transferring everything off a 5 inch and onto a 3 inch?? Any input would be welcome

Well, since you have a 30x30 flight controller you would need to find a 3 inch frame to accomodate, I do believe there are some but I don't know of one off the top of my head. Also, 3 inch frames can pretty much only accomodate a 4in1 esc setup, small vtx and micro camera. Motors will have to change as well.

There are some lightweight 5 inch frames out there. You haven't really stated why you are trying to save weight.
