Hi - I'm Fint
#1
Hi Guys and Gals

I've been lurking around for some time but felt it was time to say HI.
Been in the hobby for quite a while now. (started in 2015 with a F450)
BorisB and MetalDanny are both Dutch and live quite close to me and really inspired me to start building my own quadcopter and fly.
Heck I even flew with them a few times.
I'm not so much into racing but more into building and freestyle.

Because I wanted to say hi I made a vid, a compilation of my last two days flying.

I hope you enjoy (any feedback is appriciated)

Check out my videos @ www.youtube.com/Marcelfint and let me know what you think!

Welcome Fint!

Amazing flying! That speed and proximity must take some confident piloting...

Hey Fint, as an accomplished lurker, I doubt I have to tell you that intoFPV is an awesome forum with loads of very helpful and cool members.

Some wicked speed with the skills you have showcased there, and a great spot too.
Anyone know of anybody else who can claim a 'tree hugger' badge with their 1st post!?

Welcome man, I hope you enjoy your time here!

Thanks Grisha! That spot is indeed a great find. It's part of this forest where they also do military training. The only ninja branches there are are from these dead trees they layed down around the edge. It seems they use the slope for jeep training or something. Will be checking it out more, need to get faster!

It's a big downside of that spot, lets say we try to keep a can of compressed air in the backpack Tongue

The new gear really gives me the confidence I need. It's strange to see what a well flying rig can do for you. Thanks!

Welcome man, I hope you enjoy your time here!

I've been trying to find a good spot on the big webs.
We had a very active community in The Netherlands 3 years ago but everything moved into the international scene.
And it seems to get more and more fragmented, google, facebook, instagram, rcgroups, fpvlab, ... etc etc
I think I'm going to drop most of them and just focus on intofpv

Thank you all for the warm welcome! Have fun!

Hey Fint,

Since you've already been around quietly I'll just say that it's nice to hear from you! Great video, I too was like "omg sand! so scary" but it seems you've already got that part handled.

Now if only you could do video while the jeeps are out there that would be super awesome! too bad the military would probably frown on "drones" that weren't theirs flying lol...
