I’m currently building my first drone and it will be a racer but since it’s the first one I’ll obviously fly it very carefully before I get a hang of it. I know that racers prefer 4:3 cameras because there is more vertical viewing space, I personally have never tried either aspect ratio or even FPV for that matter, so I don’t really know what to expect.
I bought the Eachine diversity goggles 800x650, these are 16:9 or maybe even 16:10 when you calculate the ratio but these are my starters so I’m not setting anything in stone yet, I may buy some 4:3’s if these prove to be not ‘the ones’.
I only know I’d like the image to be immersive and sort of wrapping around the head, to sort of feel like I’m actually flying. Which implies that the camera has to provide good quality, I don’t want some horrible pixelation but also lag has to be minimal.
Sorry for the long text, so taking into account what I would like, have you got some suggestions which camera will be good?
