Hi guys, and gals (if any)! Thought I'd join in here and see what is going on. I am in S. California, USA, San Gabriel Valley area. i started out with helis about 10 yrs ago, but am now mostly multirotors lately. My helis are so sad and disappointed with me lol! I still love the helis, but am really getting into FPV racing mostly, and also AP auto pilot quads, but the racers are my biggest interest, and need to start focusing on one instead of spreading my time around to really get better as an FPV racer. it is so hard, because i love anything RC, especially if it flys! I should have been a bird, eagle to be exact So far i have been the Lone Ranger, but would really like to find some flyers in my area to join in with.......... Am in the process of upgrading my 250 racer with and F4 board, and finishing the iFly 150 build with SPRF3 board, doing setup on the 150 today! Happy Flying!! My current multi birds are: Tarot FY-680 Daya 550 Alien DJI F450 Goodluck Buy Alien 400 folding frame ZMR 250 H-Quad iFly 150 frog-quad Hubsan X4 H107L and a bunch of RTF nano quads! So many Big Birds its like an audition for 'sesame street!' Just wondering is 'propwash' like a business plan for the future of the car wash? Windless fields and smokeless builds Posts: 9 Threads: 1 Likes Received: 4 in 2 posts Likes Given: 6 Joined: Apr 2017 Reputation: 0 16-Apr-2017, 07:52 AM (This post was last modified: 16-Apr-2017, 07:57 AM by propwash.) LOL! Thank you very much sir! hhmmm, you may be on to something there Tom! Maybe 'propwashing' is the future!! I do 'propwash' the leaves off the driveway, works well and much fun! eh, just a name that popped into my head. and thanks for the complement on my birds. My helis are so pissed off though, i can't even look at them without the acute feeling of guilt and betrayal. I have 3 elec. 450 pro helis (all heavily modifies) a stretch 480, a little pro 120, and a bunch of others that need work and building, but just stopped in my tracks once I got hold of my first quad, which was a nano quad, the Cheerson CX-10 first version, after that I haven't looked back! Man had so much fun starting out with that guy, but now after many revisions, the current CX-10s' are next to worthless, imo compared to the first ver. Made some DIY vids for those guys, but now it is all AP quads and racers, build, build build!! Just too many dern things to fly! ...........there is no life without something that can defy gravity................but man I sure miss my dog Petey! ..............and yes, i know, i like to run on sentences ...........now let's see, where was i? oh yeah, Betaflight and the 150........... • Posts: 73 Threads: 6 Likes Received: 22 in 17 posts Likes Given: 111 Joined: Feb 2017 Reputation: 1 Welcome propwash! Glad to have you with all those machines! And yes. Those helis are singing some lonely Adele songs for sure! • Posts: 9 Threads: 1 Likes Received: 4 in 2 posts Likes Given: 6 Joined: Apr 2017 Reputation: 0 20-Apr-2017, 05:19 PM (This post was last modified: 20-Apr-2017, 05:21 PM by propwash.) Thank you very much sir! man, that is a kool forum name you have there DroneofPrey! I dig how we come up with so many different names!................but man, am a little jealous I didn't come up with that first, haha! Very nice gang you all have here, from everywhere around the globe! Hopefully in a couple days I can put up more info on my profile, and pick a good avatar. yeah, the helis have been troopers, waiting it out until i get the drone bug out of me a little. Sometimes i think I should let some of the helis go, but it is as if one develops a personal relationship with these flying machines, especially the early ones that created much learning and success! But the multi-bug bit me good, hence the reason i went a little build happy the past couple years with the multis. Hopefully, little by little I can get more and more time to fly them all more, and maybe even relocate to a more favorable area next to a field away from the city, which I have pondered for some years now. My drone fleet is young, and I am still learning more and more every flite. So great this aviation hobby, exciting how it is developing and to be involved in the early years! JUST KEEP ME AWAY FROM THE AIRPLANES, I HAVE ENOUGH TO FLY!! I'm really new to the hobby and even wetter behind the ears in this forum, but noone even remotely has made me feel inadaequate, and if the world had only half of intoFPV's culture of mutual support and motivation, it'd for sure be a way better place! Just can say I enjoy every minute spent on the forum so far, and that I'm already equally addicted to it as I am to my freshly budded fpv-quad-mania. *ohsogreat stuff, and.. ..impressive fleet, man! Looking forward to your posts, in the meantime I hope I can provide a few laughs, be well, fly safe & gnarly annnddd.. ..enjoy! |
