Hi everyone.
#1
I'm fairly new to FPV, only been a couple of months.  I have a couple more months before that flying LOS with toy grade quads.  I don't get a lot of time to practice but I can at least get off the ground and fly around but acro mode may as well be called "hit the ground" mode to me.  Seems to be OK in a simulator but in real life things happen quick and the ground is a big target.  I am determined, though.  I was reading some posts and there's a lot of good info here so I'm looking forward to learning quite a bit.

Here are pics of my current quad and the one I'm building.  It was waiting on the camera so I've been flying it LOS.  The camera finally got here today so I can finish it and take it for a real flight.

Thanks.  I decided instead of buying a BNF quad I'd learn a lot more building my own and I was right. Smile

Hey Hypurr,

Welcome to the site. Just keep at it and keep building/repairing and you'll get there. The good news is it's easier to get a quad off the ground from a crash than it is to recover from high up in a tree Smile

I always had a suspicion that 'anti-gravity' wasn't a great idea!
