Hi all!
#1
I just recently started to get into FPV, an idea I had from my days running r/c cars...I finally mounted a mini 5.8 TX to one of my planes: .FINALLY INTOFPV. Now, I wanted to build a quadcopter for acro FPV

Welcome to IntoFPV zmark, if you don't have a simulator yet, GET ONE! (Unless you have a great gaming PC, I recommend Velocidrone, if you have a decent graphics card then loads of people say that LiftOff is great. The physics of sims is really affected by FPS/frame rate, under 20 FPS and the gravity will start to feel strange.)
Expect to crash a lot when you first start flying acro, simulators will save you a whole lot of headache, and money on replacing parts too. Once you are an addict like the rest of us, you will still spend lots of money, but on stuff you WANT rather than stuff you NEED!

Have fun, any questions or problems just ask, there are loads of experienced and knowledgeable people here to help you out.

Gunna second what Tom said ^^
I started out with a q90c (technically a dr1, both suck !don’t, get a good setup!) and within a week got a mantis85 ordered. Couldn’t fly it, the other crappy quads fly themselves, so it doesn’t really help you learn.
Got a simulator on my tablet, hooked up my tx, and it all started to make sense. It’s better to crash on a simulator and not lose money on parts, than to crash learning the basics of acro/airmode on the real deal.
I will say some of the later things like powerloops don’t make sense on my simulator, it doesn’t seem to translate for me to real life, however the basics gave me the most trouble because I was stressed about breaking my new (and only) investment.
Now I’m buying Cool stuff and ready to start my first scratch build. It deff. Sucks your money up quick, but no faster than any other serious hobby or nights out at the club would..
