20 21-Jul-2021, 04:04 PM (This post was last modified: 21-Jul-2021, 04:05 PM by Rob Axel.) FWIW, I have discovered (especially with small whoop boards)… if I need to “share a pad”.. I will make a “Y” cable” with wire, connect the components .. THEN, solder the single wire to the fc…
It minimizes the heat to the fc and less chance of a bridge.. plus, it’s easier when ur working in tight areas

27 Options. Pro and Con
1. stack two wires vertically.
- silicone gets in way.
- easy to get cold solder
2. Place wires side by side
- silicone gets in way
- need wide pad
- chance of short to adjacent
3. Place wires side by side - opposite directions
+ more compact
+ easier to check both are secure
4. Solder to different GND point like exposed wire
+ solder to vtx or rx gnd
+ or scratch off some silicone and solder somewhere midway
+ messy
