hello, I switched from PPM to XSR, and wanted to setup telemetry.
However, my SPR F3 only offers 3 UART port.
Then I switch from

UART1 (USB)
UART2 OSD
UART3 SBUS

to

UART1 (USB) OSD
UART2 TELEMETRY
UART3 SBUS

on the OSD i take power from the channel 7 on the FC, 
and made a plug for tx and rx connecting to UART1, so i can disconnect it if i want to config the FC with battery on

HOWEVER, i can't connect to BF anymore, even without power on the OSD

do anyone have an idea what happened?
the port (com6) still shown on BF, however i just can't connect it

on the SPRacing F3 board, UART1 is used for USB connection, i would suggest to leave it used.. or you have to unplug TX/RX from OSD in order to use it for configurator connection.

Hope you didn't just disable MSP on UART 1 and replace it with OSD.........

i'm wondering if i can turn the OSD or Telemetry to soft serial...do they have enough speed?

You can certainly run telemetry over soft serial as the data rate is low. The OSD is best run from a hardware UART at the full 115k baud speed.
