Help, tons of background noise spilt mini 2
#1
Hi, chucked in an sd card 32gb, when I check the footage there is lots of noise even when the quad is disarmed. All wiring is through the FC which is an hglrc f428. Any suggestions¿

There can be many reasons for noise in your FPV feed. Number 1 culprit of really bad noise is a mounting screw(s) being too long and touching the winding of a motor so check that carefully. Next, make sure that the base of your vtx antenna isn't grounding out on the carbon fibre frame. Always good idea to isolate it with some electrical tape. With that said, how do you have your Split powered? When you say "all wiring" is through the FC, do you mean power as well? If so, the Split shouldn't be powered off your FC. It needs a clean power supply such as directly to your lipo or even better, from a filtered 5V source.
Dude, where's my quad?

Ok so i have all the split wired up to 5V, Gnd and Cam all on the FC pads. The vtx is also on nylon standoffs and the motor screws aren't touching any of the winding's. (also turns out the sound starts when motors are armed)

I wonder if it is just the limit of the Runcam recording. Or your SD card is too slow. Looks like pixelation vs noise.

I've got no idea when it comes to video editing, but does the pixelation impact the background sounds?

If your SD CARD is not fast enough, you will get video pixelation and sound distortion.
