HELP | EACHINE WIZARD X220 WILL NOT RESPOND TO FLYSKY using FS-iA6 receiver
#1
I can't get the quadcopter to respond to the remote. But I can get the motors to work in betaflight using micro usb.

Also no input from remote when in betaflight but gyro works.

You might check out this post in another thread here.  (Especially the part about PPM vs SBUS. Also includes a good video.)

I'm also having this problem now. I think a motor blew or esc... or the FC is now screwed for motor 2.. should i swap motor 2 and another to see if i can get it working on another?

From what I've read, the FS-iA6 will not do PPM or SBus (PWM only). You will need a iA6B (or maybe iA6S). Not sure what the new problem is.

I flashed the board and everything in that video. But no luck..

Should i order the fs-ia6b receiver and see?

But idk what to do about this dead motor now..

The Wizard is set up from Eachine to be plug and play with the IA6B receiver, so I would definitely recommend getting that as the IA6 is set up PWM. Also make sure that your transmitter is set up for PPM and that you are also set up for PPM in betaflight. Have you checked with the BLHELI software to see if it recognizing all of your ESC's?

First things first. Get a compatible receiver. The IA6 does not do PPM output and cannot be set to do so. You should use an IA6B receiver.

While you are waiting for a new receiver, build yourself a smoke stopper and always use it when you are working with the quad on the bench.

Then, calibrate your ESCs. Once you have done that, check if each motor will spin using the motors tab in the configurator. If there seems to be a problem with one motor, swap the ESC with one of the others. If the motor starts working and the other motor now stops working, then the ESC is bad. If there is no difference, try swapping the ESC input to another motor output. If that fixes it, the output on the flight controller is bad and you can re-map that motor to a working output.

It's a just a process of elimination to work out which part is causing the problem.

Did you ever get this fixed? I got the rtf version with the ia6b receiver preinstalled/bound and i still get not response. Im attempting to run on PPM as i dont have the tools or the skills to switch to ibus.

Check out my thread for my specific issue http://intofpv.com/t-flysky-fs-i6-and-ea...d-x220-rtf
