HELP! Eachine Wizard X220 Antenna
#1
Crashed my Eachine Wizard X220 causing the VTX and its antenna to separate. The antenna was unrecoverable.

I can't figure out what type of antenna and SMA(?) connector/adapter I need to buy in order to get this things working again.

I bought some replacement antennas (here) which look like the ones I had before but all of the connectors I've looked at don't look like they would work with my VTX shown here

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry to say bud, but from this pic it looks like its busted, and the thread has stayed attached to the antenna. Maybe you could solder onto the 3 branches that connect the block to the VTX as a temporary fix. I would guess that the middle pin is the antenna and the outers are grounds for the coax shielding... If I was you though, I'd rather listen to someone with more experience than me!

Show us what is left of your VTX. If you've broken off the connector as well as the antenna and the VTX was powered up without any antenna, the VTX may well be dead. Transmitters don't like being powered up without an antenna connected as all the power that should have been going into the air will instead be reflected straight back into the output and that tends to destroy the output transistor.

that's RP-SMA.
this is the sort of connector you need to replace the broken one on your VTX:

Sorry, I didn't notice the links.

The connector that Oscar has linked is what you need - and a little skill with the soldering iron. Smile
