Help, building first quad. Esc motor issues
#1
Hey guys, so I'm building my first quad and having some issues. Im using the naze 32 rev6 with the x8r receiver for sbus. My transmitter is a taranis plus, I am using the emax motor and esc kit (1806 and 12A). I followed some online video for setting up this naze and I use esc 1 for the positive and ground, while for esc 2-4 I cut off the positive and ground. (can i do this for the sbus receiver? i saw on flite test they keep the ground and positive wires on the escs).

I  was able to connect to clean flight and calibrate the motors. Sometime some of the motors would make a chirping noise and not spin correctly when engaging them on cleanflight( i was told they do this if you leave the battery on it too long but they did this on the first initial plug in). The x8r says its binded with the transmitter yet when i turn both the transmitter, the quad, and move the throttle or anything nothing happens.

So im not exactly sure what is going on here? any ideas? thoughts?

You have to arm the Quad first, either by assigning it to a switch, or moving the yaw full right while throttle is 0.
to disarm move yaw full left
