Help? binding Tango 2 to FrSky USB dongle
#1
Howdy!

I've watched several videos and have been messing around with this for a while now....I cannot seem to figure out how to bind the wireless FrSky usb dongle (for Simulator) to my TBS Tango 2.... I've tried several different processes and I'm obviously missing something.

I setup a new model....most videos I see are binding in the "Internal RF" but in the menu I only have the External RF available....I don't know if that makes any difference....I'm just learning this so I don't know my way around this platform yet....

Any thoughts?

The TBS Tango 2 only has an internal TBS Crossfire module which can only bind to TBS Crossfire receivers. The FrSky USB dongle has an FrSky ACCST receiver in it, so you won't be able to bind it to the internal Crossfire module in your Tango 2. You will need to install a lite module bay onto the back of your Tango 2 (if it doesn't already have one) and then fit a lite multiprotocol module into your Tango 2 if you want to bind to and make use of the FrSky USB dongle.

This is the module bay you need for the Tango 2...

is there a crossfire USB receiver that I could use for liftoff?

There is no Crossfire equivalent USB dongle like the FrSky one.

You can however just plug your Tango 2 directly into your computer with a USB cable and use it in USB Joystick mode.
