I have been passive (only reading) on this forum since october but i'm willing to change that in future. I've been flyin toy grades quadcopters for two years but finally i decided to progress with a custom build acro capable quad. You can check my build log here. In general I don't do a lot of stuff in my life, but those few what i do are fulfilled with great passion. Multi rotors quickly became one of them.. cheers Posts: 5,315 Threads: 672 Likes Received: 3,155 in 1,743 posts Likes Given: 2,030 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 139 Welcome Pips! I have only just begun myself and bought a slower RTF rig to learn...but that quickly led to some passion that finds me building a rig now. I think these things are sort of addictive! SoCal Kaity :D OMG, no one told me it would be this much fun! Addicted :) Posts: 1,590 Threads: 89 Likes Received: 1,283 in 768 posts Likes Given: 1,274 Joined: Jan 2017 Reputation: 31 (09-May-2017, 06:47 PM)kaitylynn Wrote: Welcome Pips! I think these things are sort of addictive! instead of a 12 step program... maybe a 12 prop program? Or do you really just need 4 tri-blades? Welcome to active part of the forum Igor! sometimes my girlfriend and friends don't approve that :] luckily i do an IT related service for living so i can play with many toys in the name of "doing my job" (09-May-2017, 06:47 PM)kaitylynn Wrote: Welcome Pips! I think these things are sort of addictive! starting with toys is the right way if you ask me.. the very first steps must be done on plastic (harmless+inexpensive). Syma x5c is the bite model what i recommend to all of my friends You have my support to build your first mini. Of course you can also buy a Wzard but you will miss the path of trial and error + learning theory while doing research.
