I looked it up on their web site and the documentation for the old 12A ESC says max 300,000 eRPM with a recommended maximum of 270,000.

I've never used KISS ESCs before. Is there any way to adjust the ESC timing like there is on BLHeli?

I've racked my brains, but I can only come up with a catastrophic desync causing the ESC and motor to blow up.

No, Kiss escs can not be adjusted, especially the old ones. I think the 24a versions have some "secret" options that can be reached with an FTDI somehow, but not sure if timing can be changed on those.

Yeah i guess desync is most likely the reason.

Goodmorning everyone

I felt ugly not to conclude.
arrived motors and new esc, dys ds20a, i did synchronize with a power supply with adjustable current limited to 2A.
I did three packs of batteries and nothing was burned.
flies perfectly.
