Sharing the only video that I have, Micro printed frame. Don't have brushless acro videos, but it will come in 2016 + FPV, cheers! • Posts: 5,314 Threads: 672 Likes Received: 3,155 in 1,743 posts Likes Given: 2,027 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 139 Welcome Daprato!!! your video has been embeded beautifully!!! • Posts: 76 Threads: 13 Likes Received: 2 in 2 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 3 Wow, looks nice ... How much does a whole micro quad cost? I consider building one for bad weather indoor flight, without fpv! Sky is where the fun begins! I like that CJMCU board.... but it's nowhere to get. Saw your video flying FPV-indoor, that was sooo great. And since it's raining here all day long and i can't fly my 250 beast indoors.... i ned one too xD Always thought they were lame ... ^^ Sky is where the fun begins! I will not look back at another 7mm setup again... : go for 8.5mm setup I swear you will enjoy it more • Posts: 71 Threads: 18 Likes Received: 30 in 15 posts Likes Given: 43 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 6 21-Jan-2016, 06:27 PM (This post was last modified: 21-Jan-2016, 06:45 PM by daprato.) Printed frame is good for fun, creating, but stronger plastic will be too heavy and lighter plastic one will break, if you manage to fly "stunty" if I can say so. I would suggest to buy my favorite one from picnicquads, polycarbonate efficiency II. Polycarbonate when thin arms like that will break LESS than the cf-birchcore. Polycarbonate could bend, so it's a 7$ well invested when you're trying to learn acro, stunty stuff. But, if you're confortable and experienced, nothing beat it's cf-birchcore in therm of lightweight. My setup cost : ~78$ - Efficiency II frame 120 : 7$ (frame without motor mount) - 4 motor mount at 0.85$ each - a flight controller : ~40-50$ - set of 4 motor 0820-17 (8.5mm brush motors) : 15$ to 31$ for a set - lipo 1s around 500 to 600 mAh 35C : there's the nano-tech actually lower price 3$ some links: http://picnicquads.com/ http://micro-motor-warehouse.com/ http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...20SR_.html
Forget to mention the Lemon Satellite DMS2 receiver for 10 to 15$ But Picnicquads sell SciSky apparently with receiver integrated, started at 40$ • Posts: 42 Threads: 9 Likes Received: 2 in 2 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Aug 2016 Reputation: 0 (13-Jan-2016, 08:59 PM)Oscar Wrote: Since I tried the 8.5mm motor setup, I cannot recommend it enough!!
