Hi!
My name is Rapha, I am a student at Paderborn University and I am in the RC hobby for a good 3 years now. I first started as a child when I wished for a fast RC car but never got one (only crappy slow ones ).
So I saved some money and started with a Traxxas Mini Revo 1/16 in 2013 and got totally hooked. So far I've build a Traxxaas Rustler (for racing friends) and a Traxxas Slash 4x4 (for just having tons of fun, 2kg - 2000W ). I still enjoy driving them as you get approximately 30 minutes of driving time per battery and the are crazy fast (70 km/h+)
In June 2015 desaster happened: I've found another passion.
I watched a documentation about metaldanny I knew that this may be the next step for me and I began reading.
In January this year I finally started building my first Mini-Quad (ZMR250) and had lots of fun flying it, though I'm not good at flying (yet) and have spend even more time fixing.
At the end of the month I am starting to build another Quad and I even sold one of my RC-Cars for that (cars are more expensive to build but cheaper to run )
I hope to post a few videos soon in which I chase my brother in law with his little 1/10 scale.
Also I plan on building a little FPV backpack to drive my RC-cars.
BTW: To me this forum feels like a second home already!
Thank you for all your help so far - will be needing a lot more I fear!
