Hello All,

I'm a total noob, and may need some help about things I can't sort out myselft.

Built my first quad, and now trying to improve my skills.
Turningy 9x with er9x and XJT, with telemetry mod.
X4R-SB on my reallac x210, Emax 2205RS 2600kv
Racerstar RS30A V2 30A Blheli_S

First problems, my eachine vtx03 worked only on the first test, and didn't light up after for no reason.
Now my CW motors are really hot and the two other are not so hot.

Don't know what to do ?

How was the TX03 powered? Did the antenna come off at while it was powered on? As this will usually causes failures.

What flight controller/firmware are you using? A Blackbox log would be helpful to diagnose motor temp issues.

Have you calibrated ESCs? Ect ect.

Walk us through your experience so far. Be as specific as possible and pictures say a thousand words Wink

VTX was connected on +5v on the same pads as the FC on my pdb. antenna always connected.
Do you think it will be more secure to connect it to the FC ?

Esc were calibrated using the betaflight process, will do another one.
Reversed 2 esc for CCW to avoid crossing wires using BL HELI SUITE

I am still learning as well but to me that looks like a very noisy build. Someone with more experience in blackbox and filters will be along soon I'm sure. Might need to do some soft mounting and tuning for sure.
Might be worth starting a thread in General Discussion under Beginner Questions to get more exposure too.

Wow. That's intense! Does everyone that plans to fly a quad have to learn all those 8,766 lines of programming and a where does a newbie even start to understand that? I thought it was hard learning how to fly a helicopter. Ha!

Short answer - No. Big Grin . You will learn things as you need/want to.  Don't be intimidated by lots of code dumps.  Get/build your quad, look at a few videos on configuration, ask questions - it's easier than flying a helicopter (must be, because I can't fly a helicopter).  Tongue
