1 Hi,
I just ordered Tarantis X7 and plan on learning on a simulator until I decide to get a FPV quad. Im 52 and starting a boyhood dream in RC.
My goal this next year is to become proficient and build an FPV quad next spring.
Thanks in advance,
Jim

65 Welcome Jim!
This is a great forum to learn and share on. My radio is the X7 and I love it. There are plenty of inexpensive BNF quads available for FrSky, the Eachine E010 series (tiny Whoop) comes to mind. This would allow you to fly indoors (outdoors too in light weather) and get a good feel before flying bigger things.
Again, welcome!

OMG, no one told me it would be this much fun! Addicted :)

31 Hey Jim,
Welcome to IntoFPV! a couple of months of sim experience should be perfect. Get used to Acro up front so that you're hitting the sky in full control when the time comes. That's how I did it and it was worth it. Crashing in simulators is much easier to repair: Keystroke=R lol

Current Quads: Operational: Diatone GT2 200 In need of repair: Bumble Bee, tehStein, Slightly modified Vortex 250
