Hello!
#1
Hi there,
I'm fairly new to the hobby, I'm from Italy but I live in England. I fell in love with the hobby watching freestyle videos on youtube and I built my first quad in March from a kit I bought in a model shop. It was terrible in every possible way and exploded on my first crash but it was enough to make me waste all of my money in the hobby over the past five months.
I built a better quad and it's going well so far. I mostly play with the simulator as I work too much and I don't get to fly very often. When I do, I always put a video on youtube with terrible music playing in the background because that's what you are supposed to do, right?
As you can see, I was only able to fly 6 times by far which is very sad but I hope it will get better in the future.

Here's one of my recent flights:

Nice to meet you all  Smile

Nice flying! All the time on the simulator has obviously been worth it.

Hi Gianpa, welcome to IntoFPV! Video is great. My favorite videos are from real people so I really enjoyed it!

Sounds not to far off from my journey into flying RC Quads. I put a lot of simulator time in as well... Which one(s) do you fly? Which is your favorite?

I mostly play Liftoff and DRL, the latter being my favorite as it's smooth unrealistic arcade video game feeling reminds me of the good old times when I used to play wipeout on my psp.
I am really bad at it though,I still struggle to get through the DRL lines, especially the first one and Project Manhattan for some reason.

Dude project manhattan is tough... I cant even really fly freestyle in there it's got so many things just begging to grab you! Any of the DRL lines courses are tough as nails so I don't blame you on that at all! There is a reason those guys are invited to those events... and only 50% of it is because they're good on camera lol :p

I haven't spent much time doing the races in liftoff DRL but when I first crossed this major milestone a couple of month ago (the "click") I spent some time playing around with the shipyard in the gates of hell and that one was fun Smile I liked that it had some all out  spots like between the boat and the dock.

I've started playing multiplayer in liftoff and that's pretty fun too... but mostly I just fly liftoff single-player going back and forth between race and freestyle.

Nice one Gianpa, I liked the gap through the trees into the sun, very atmospheric and a joy to watch, the acro moves pay homage to the time spent 'in sim' too!
Welcome to the best FPV forum online, I hope you can post a few more vids before the long UK winter sets in...
Windless fields and smokeless builds
