Hello

Hello all.
Rob here UK .
Been building multi's for around 18 months now , it's been a steep learning curve and an expensive one Confused
Currently have a robocat frame with a SP3 F/C awaiting some cheap motors and ESC's on the slow boat from China .
During the wait I've salvaged 3 emax 2204's of my old crashed 250 and built a mini tri using bits of old frame and some 10mm cross section aluminium using a cc3d that was used two builds previous.
The tri build has been another couple of weeks of frustration and learning but at least it is something to do waiting for my quad parts.
My first build was a 450 dead cat with APM (this was sadly lost).
Still getting to grips with my Tarranis radio but it's still the best purchase I have made so far .
Every day is a school day with this hobby and hope to learn and hopefully share with the rest of you  .
Thanks.
The DIY parts bin tri copter 250

Always sucks losing a quad. In addition to lost craft buzzer, I have a label on all my quads with name, phone # and a note saying $100 reward for return. I figure it's worth $100 to get back, and if I don't put up a reward, they probably ain't going to call

Hiya RENOV8R none of those precautions helped .Out on some moorland getting some video wild open place with thick heather and bracken .Spent days going over the spot where I thought it was .Lost a cheap Chinese go pro copy thankfully not the real Mcoy .Still the cost of the loss set me back some months .Another lesson was doing an APM build as my first project .Think i bit off more than I could chew with that.Still it made 250 builds seem a doddle after that steep learning curve.
But being thoughtful and patient isn't one of my strong points  Big Grin
