So I literally have the HDO's in my shopping cart right now and they are ready ship. 
Almost positive I'm gonna buy them at this point.

the question I have is... which module? which antennas? 
I'm about to buy this package. From what I understand, this setup will "future proof" me for quite a while.
Will it work with this little quad I just bought? Does diversity even matter with this quad? Does this quad have linear and circular built in?
I'm very confident that I'll enjoy this hobby enough to keep flying for a while, so I'm assuming this setup will be good for a while.

this quad you linked has a liner antenna, you can „upgrade“ with a foxeer lollipop, they are very nice, but i would also mention about the weight because of flightcaracteristics. 65g on 1103 motors is already enough weight for my taste.
the question is about the range you will fly, this is also limited with the 200mw vtx of the linked quad.

The linear dipole antenna will work fine, I wouldn't bother changing it. Diversity has nothing to do with the antenna on the quad, only on the goggles, whichever antenna is receiving the stronger signal will be the one the goggles switch to.
